E-Waste Management in Africa
Related to country: Kenya

Disposal of e-waste is becoming an increasingly important challenge for most African countries. With new technologies comes new electronics, for example adoption of digital TV in Kenya by 2015 means the old TV sets must be changed or modified. The big question is what happens to the old electronics. Lack of clear policies and awareness on management of e-waste in most African countries is a clear indication that a lot has to be done. It is in view of this that I'm currently in the process of developing a research topic in the field of E-waste management specifically in Africa for my Masters Thesis.I will be glad if members contribute to this topic.

ICT and Development
Related to country: Kenya

Lets all use ict to hasten development in Kenya. We should lobby to ensure that our government zero rate computers accessories and other ict tools to ensure that majority can access and afford internet. this inturn will lead to greater development and elimination of poverty.
An example is the development of www.kisumurural.net webiste this brings development closer to the people by ensuring all information is available.
